Beating the Skills Shortage
The land-based contracting industry continues to struggle with a lack of suitably skilled young people but a new Diploma in Environmental and Land-Based Studies, aimed at 14-19 year olds, is a positive step in encouraging enthusiasm through training and involvement from an early stage.
This could provide contractors with huge advantages so it is vital that NAAC Members get involved in its delivery to ensure that young people start to develop the skills required by our businesses.
