NAAC Knowledge Transfer Days 2018/19


Risk Management:

A day of theory and practice helping to ensure your business manages risk appropriately and proportionately. David will lead you through what’s needed, what’s nice to have and how to deal with the consequences of events. He will also help you get your business health and safety paperwork in order, referring to the NAAC’s Health and Safety Package which is included as part of your membership.
Our host contractor will then explain how they deal with risk management on a day to day basis and in real world conditions.
Finally, NAAC Member James Bannister will explain the history and consequences surrounding his accident, when he lost his arm.
The day will conclude with a chance to look ‘what’s in my machinery shed’.

Followed by an afternoon session with application guru Tom Robinson, covering the latest application topics, tips and advice.

Optimisation Clinics:

NAAC in association with John Deere and Bridgestone please a series of Optimisation Clinics.
The day will explain tyres and traction. What to look for when choosing tyres, calculate the weights and pressures required to get the best out of the tyres and power available. Looking at minimising soil damage, environmental issues, fuel consumption and wear and tare of both tyres and power units.
