NEW NAAC CONTRACTORS’ CHARGES FOR 2011/12
The NAAC is pleased to publish its new contracting charges for 2011.
We are confident these new averaged prices are a reasonable guide for both contractors and farmers.
However, it must be remembered they are only a guide.
There is considerably more detail this year.
For example, tractor and man prices have been broken down into horsepower brackets.

SHEEP SHEARERS CAN COME TO THE UK THIS SEASON
The immigration system has changed radically this year for overseas shearers coming into the UK,
including their removal from the shortage occupation list under the Points Based System.
However, a transitional scheme has been put in place by the Government, working with the NAAC,
for this year to allow shearers to come to the UK on a seasonal temporary basis.

RED DIESEL
If you are unsure about the legal uses of red diesel then click here for definitive new guidance.
Agreed with HMRC and DVLA, the Memorandum makes it clear when land-based contractors
can use red diesel within defined limits.
