This full-time position requires a skilled and experienced combine and sprayer operator to handle our harvest and spraying operations. The ideal candidate will be confident and will preferably have experience in operating a CLAAS Lexion Combine and Bateman Sprayer. A PA1 and PA2 certificate is essential. Attention to detail and accurate record keeping is vital for this role. The ability to turn a hand to other agricultural operations would be advantageous as there may be at times the opportunity and requirement to take on other tasks such as muckspreading, cultivation work and haulage, so experience in these areas would be favourable. Other opportunities may be available dependent on experience, qualifications and future business requirements. A flexible approach and willingness to work long hours is essential.

The main duty of this full-time role will be the operation of our Vredo 7028-3 Self-Propelled Slurry Tanker, handling our slurry and digestate applications. Attention to detail and accurate record keeping is crucial for this role. Previous experience of liquid waste application is essential and operation of a variety of other agricultural machinery would be advantageous to assist with other operations where required. A flexible approach and willingness to work long hours is essential.

ARC Ground Care Ltd is one of the leading sports pitch contractors in the UK and due to continued growth, we are looking for a machine operator to work on sports pitch construction and ground maintenance projects.

The role will include driving tractors, earth moving plant, our Mastenbroek trencher and other machinery to construct, renovate and maintain a variety of pitches and playing fields throughout the country. Sometimes, working on nationwide contracts will be needed but ARC Ground Care Ltd provides accommodation and food allowance while you are away.

About the Role

The successful operative will join a small but hard-working team on a variety of sports pitch and agricultural projects, from local clubs and schools to league teams. You will be working on construction, drainage, renovation and many other projects. We use the latest laser guided equipment including Trimble GPS so knowledge of this, or the aptitude to learn it, would be an advantage. You will be driving diggers, dumpers, tractors of all sizes and more to:
• Install land and pitch drainage.
• Build sports pitches.
• Renovate and maintain cricket squares, bowling greens etc.
• Fix problems.
• Work off scale site drawings.
• Work well with other team members.

About You

The successful candidate will be required to drive various machines, so you will need to have previous experience in this area. A farming background would be considered. You will be driven to succeed and an excellent team player.
Progression is available in this role and full training and qualifications will be provided to the right candidate. Attention to detail and a high standard of work are necessary, as the clients you will be working for are top notch!

You will need to display the following:
• Experience in driving machinery is essential.
• A full, clean driving license.
• Preferably a CSCS card and tractor experience but training and qualifications will be provided for the right person.
• HGV license would be an advantage.
Sports pitch construction experience is an advantage (farming background would be considered).
• Mechanic skills to fix things on the go!
• Self-motivated, reliable, problem solver.
• To work unsupervised where necessary.
• An excellent communicator as client facing work is necessary.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated person to join our small family Contracting business. Primary role will be operating a large modern Hedgecutter on a National Utilities contract, alongside Amenity and Agricultural Hedgecutting.

We would also look for look for you to carry out a wide range of other work, from drilling to forage production, to general work on the farm. We also run an equine business and would look for you to get involved with aspects of that as well, at times.

The job will involve working on your own at times, under your own initiative, and maintaining and caring for the equipment you use. There will be some time staying away during the week with some of the work

Experience of hedgecutting, and the ability to cut to a high standard are essential. We run a fleet of modern Fendt tractors, so experience of operating tractors with CVT, Guidance etc is important. Telehandler and Trailer licences (B+E) would also be beneficial.

Basic comfortable accommodation can be provided on farm.

We would favour a self employed individual but would consider employment for the right person. This is a long term position with the opportunity to grow with us, and potentially take over management of aspects of parts of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and tendering a range of projects including the construction of natural turf sports facilities, sports turf renovations, earthworks, land drainage, equestrian construction and landscaping, with a typical project value of £25,000 - £1,000,000.

The role will be based at our Newbury Head Office, working as part of an established team and include:
* Prepare and lead the compilation of tenders/bids
* Request plans and specifications from clients
* Review plans and perform material take-offs
* Request pricing from suppliers and acquire quotes from vendors
* Develop client and consultant relations
* Work in conjunction with administration staff in preparation of the estimate
* Provide input to the handover process from estimating to contract
* Provide data as requested to review the performance of the supply chain member
* Provide input into the review of supply chain members
* The role will be reporting directly to the Technical Director
* You will be expected to have a proven track record in a similar position.

Based from our yard in Enborne, Newbury RG20 0HA, we have vacancies for Experienced Plant Operatives.

We are always keen to receive applications from skilled & experienced plant operatives and people with a genuine interest in gaining more experience and skills. Must be able to work from plans and be prepared to tackle a variety of tasks. H&S is a requirement, but we are willing to book this in for you if you do not already have an in date certificate. CPCS and/ or NPORS cards are required for this position. Will involve travel to various sites in the South, staying away may also be required.

Must work to a high standard and be able to work productively and safely of your own when necessary.

This position is for full time employment.
