Customer Sales & Logistics Co-ordinator

We are looking for a highly organised and efficient person who can multi-task and prioritise throughout the day, to provide support to our On-Farm Feed service which operates throughout Southern England. Our goal is to deliver high quality feeds for all livestock made fresh on the farm.

Key tasks:

* Clerical and administration support to our fleet of Mobile On-Farm Feed Mills including scheduling of daily routes
* Receiving and promptly processing customer orders, following through to co-ordinating purchase orders and delivery arrangements
* Assist with marketing campaigns for existing and new customers, both in the office and at shows/events
* Data entry and analysis for reporting, including stock control
* Quality assurance control; ensuring assurance scheme records and procedures are maintained and kept up to date
* Working closely and providing support to Sales Administrator, as well as liaising with workshop mechanic, operators and other members of staff


* Good IT skills with attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence and ability to liaise with customers, suppliers and other members of staff
* Agricultural background or knowledge would be helpful
* Right to work in UK and UK valid driving licence required.

Work hours: Monday – Friday (although 4 days per week instead of 5 could be negotiable), 9am to 5pm

White Horse Contractors are specialist contractors, working on a diverse range of projects including natural sports turf construction and renovation, land drainage, water engineering and landscaping.

To succeed in this role, you will be able to:
* Work as part of a team and by yourself
* Operate a modern fleet of tractors, excavators and specialist equipment to a high standard
* Hold the relevant CPCS or NPORS qualifications
* Understand layout plans and follow instructions from the Contracts Manager
* Carry out basic maintenance and wear part changes to machinery as required
* Be willing to work away from home as required
* Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy
* You will be expected to have a proven track record in a similar position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and tendering a range of projects including the construction of natural turf sports facilities, sports turf renovations, earthworks, land drainage, equestrian construction and landscaping, with a typical project value of £25,000 - £1,000,000.

The role will be based at our Newbury Head Office, working as part of an established team and include:
* Prepare and lead the compilation of tenders/bids
* Request plans and specifications from clients
* Review plans and perform material take-offs
* Request pricing from suppliers and acquire quotes from vendors
* Develop client and consultant relations
* Work in conjunction with administration staff in preparation of the estimate
* Provide input to the handover process from estimating to contract
* Provide data as requested to review the performance of the supply chain member
* Provide input into the review of supply chain members
* The role will be reporting directly to the Technical Director
* You will be expected to have a proven track record in a similar position.

Based from our yard in Enborne, Newbury RG20 0HA, we have vacancies for Experienced Plant Operatives.

We are always keen to receive applications from skilled & experienced plant operatives and people with a genuine interest in gaining more experience and skills. Must be able to work from plans and be prepared to tackle a variety of tasks. H&S is a requirement, but we are willing to book this in for you if you do not already have an in date certificate. CPCS and/ or NPORS cards are required for this position. Will involve travel to various sites in the South, staying away may also be required.

Must work to a high standard and be able to work productively and safely of your own when necessary.

This position is for full time employment.

Excellent rates of pay to suitable candidates and overtime hours are available. Guaranteed 40 hour basic week. Annual attendance bonus, weekly service bonus after 1st year, workplace pension scheme.
