BAGMA training
3-4 February 2022

£705 + VAT

The NAAC is hosting a training event for a new BAGMA trailer-tractor inspection and brake testing course, taking place at Matt Redman Agriculture’s premises in Cambridgeshire. This is a comprehensive training course designed for competent and experienced technicians with a proven technical background. It is likely to suit contractors who do a lot of machinery maintenance. Keys facts are:

  • Two days incorporating both ‘classroom’ and practical training
  • Maximum 6 people
  • Delivered by an experienced industry trainer
  • Course material includes a comprehensive training / reference guide. Covers all aspects of the course and provides a ‘go-to’ reference for future use
  • Written examination at end of the 1st day. Candidates must ‘pass’ to continue with 2nd day of training

BAGMA Tractor-Trailer Inspection & Brake Testing enables trained operators to provide a valuable documented vehicle inspection and brake performance testing in a single package – giving confidence that a machine will satisfy statutory requirements and, most importantly, be safe.

Members could take the test to manage their own fleet or offer a service to other customers. Anyone attending needs to be mindful that if they want to go ahead and do the testing and inspections the brake testing equipment can cost between £2,500 and £3,000.

The cost for the two days is £705 + VAT. If members are travelling far, there is accommodation close to the venue if needed.

This course is limited to a maximum of 6 people (NAAC member companies only) and we have a shortlist. Bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis.
