Founded in 1893, the NAAC represents UK contractors supplying all land-based services to farmers, government, local authorities, sports and recreational facilities. We are committed to representing the interests of members at national and (where needed) international level. We offer information and expert advice, promote the services of our members and assist contractors in providing a professional and competitive service to farmers and the local community.

The NAAC not only represents contractors at national Government level, but also works closely with other agricultural and land-based organisations. Members are represented on a vast variety of committees, including the Defra Productivity Taskforce, Voluntary Initiative, Farm Safety Partnership, Agricultural Industry Advisory Committee, Amenity Forum, NRoSO, Food Standards Agency and Basis Board.

Contractors play a vital role in the prosperity of the countryside, delivering large-scale solutions that enhance food production and efficiency, while also helping to protect the environment and biodiversity. We aim to ensure that land-based contractors are always at the forefront of Government policy moving forward.
