Our mission
To give our members access to the tools and knowledge they need to provide a professional contracting service, so they are fully informed, have peace of mind and can prove their professionalism.

Representation
NAAC represents contractors at the highest levels in UK Government to ensure recognition of the sector. We sit on industry committees, such as Defra Productivity Taskforce, Voluntary Initiative, Defra Air Quality, Farm Safety Partnership, and also work closely with devolved Governments.
Promotion
Members can choose to be listed in the Find a Contractor database free of charge, which is searched on average 800 times per week by those looking for contractors, and they can use the NAAC logo to help them stand out as a professional.
Support
Become a member and access a health and safety package to help you keep up to date and legal, as well as a focused insurance scheme, regular events and training, and a Jobs Board. Members can also claim 2 BASIS/NRoSO points each year.

We have dedicated legal, employment, transport and safety consultants, who provide free first base advice when members need it, and preferential rates after that.
Information
Members are sent bi-monthly Bulletins, packed full of news and information, and have access to our Members Area, which includes guides, templates, a record keeping pack, and members are eligible for a free subscription to Farm Contractor magazine.
Discounts
Members are eligible for a 20% discount on Nextbase Dash Cams. Also discounts are available on days out for members and their families at places like Alton Towers and Legoland.
Where does the NAAC make an impact?
Financial support – NAAC has lobbied for agricultural contractors to have access to grant funding for many years, resulting in Defra agreeing to open up the new Farming Investment Fund grants to agricultural contractors from 2021.
Safety – Ensures members are aware of their responsibilities to keep themselves and staff safe at work. Members have access to a safety consultant at preferential rates, as well as a Safety Management Manual.
Environment – Contractors are part of the solution and NAAC is working with Governments on responsible application of slurry and digestate, pesticides, potato fogging and amenity spraying.
Transport – Defends the right to use red diesel, reviewing weights and keeping contractors safe on the road. Members have access to a transport consultant at preferential rates.
Animal welfare – Supports members carrying out shearing and dipping, helps with bringing in overseas shearers and provides industry guidance.
Mobile seed cleaning – Manages the BSPB royalty collection scheme and works with industry and Government to promote on-farm seed processing..
Mobile feed – Protects and promotes the professionalism and quality of on-farm feed processing.
Land drainage – Provides training and promotes professional drainage contractors.
Contracting prices – We survey members every year to provide a benchmark pricing guide for the industry.
